Positions Vacant.

The Tanunda Town Band – the oldest band in the Southern Hemisphere – is on a recruitment drive to fill several player vacancies within the band. It’s a recruitment drive with a difference and the band seeks to highlight some of the lifestyle advantages of the beautiful Barossa Valley in South Australia.

Are you tired of the hustle and bustle of where you live at the moment?  Always had a hankering to move somewhere where lifestyle gets a real focus? Want us to assist in addressing some of the migration issues? Don’t want to give up that devotion to the brass band challenge in a competitive band?

We think that the Tanunda Town Band addresses all of these questions.

Arguably one of the better known ‘Valleys’ in the world, the Barossa Valley is famous for its wine and culture.  Metropolitan Adelaide – with a population of over 1 Million – is on your doorstep.

Skilled migration opportunities exist in (South Australia), or why not apply for a working holiday visa?

The Tanunda Town Band has come along way. Still true to the ‘Town Band’ philosophy that communities sought from their bands in the last century, the band has emerged after 150 years of existence as a modern vibrant ‘A’ Grade band that still entertains the local community and competes both on the State and National stage.
